Lucas was horrible. He played well against Stoke but against Villa, he was back to his usual self. The own goal conceded was unforgivable. How and why he head the ball towards goal baffles me. Without Alonso or a quality playmaker, we were just like headless chickens running around aimlessly.
Gerard, Kyut, Benayoun, Torres, Insua, Mascherano were all guily of below par peformance this morning. I don't understand why Reira was left on the bench.
I don't know what else to say. Just shocked. At the rate we are going with Lucas in the team, we ain't going anywhere this season.
Period.

Sigh... I suspect Lucas is a Singaporean. Cannot praise one, or in his case, be selected for the Brazilian national team, cos head will get big and screw up.
Hopefully he wakes up his idea soon man cos Rafa seems to be out of options and $$ to get a replacement before the transfer window closes.

Agree... he is a brazilian that doesn't play like a brazilian. Rafa has options but he is not using it. He is another stubborn old cow. Im beginning to feel we need a change of owners and manager too. He can bring Gerard back to the playmaker role, Benayoun or Voronin to partner Torres up front, Reira play on the left. That will solve our lack of creativity.
